Digital_Flotsam is a collaborative image archive, contributed to by Igor Prato Luna and Alma Stritt. The archive consists of 1020 images [as of 12.06.25]. Images are included for their ability to convey urgency, despite being ordinary, unremarkable and partially or fully untied from original context, source and memory. Images grouped and are presented as amorphous clumps analogous to the tidally deposited debris (flotsam) that emerges periodically at tidelines. Digital_Flotsam is currently published online twice weekly, as the wash-up of EBB and FLOW TIDES.
’The Right Map’ organised by Ghost Art School and Liverpool Independents Biennial). Two bodies of work were exhibited, ‘AN ARCHIVE OF URGENT IMAGES - versions 01 and 02’ (one copy with filenames and one without) and the interactive piece ‘THE IMAGE DISPENSER.’
