Alma Stritt

b.1998  German/British

My work takes on the form of self-published image catalogues/books, sticker campaigns and temporary image displays/installations. I have been studying at the Royal College of Art since 2024 (Graduate Diploma 2024, MA PRINT 2025-26).

My prior education (Bsc Ecology/Oceanography, 2018-2021) investigating coastal ecosystems in the North East of England (Newcastle) continues to influence my practice. I am interested in the accumulation of debris, and the unique pressures on life, at margins.

Transition spaces, or ‘tide-lines’ I am currently probing within my creative practice are where object becomes image and where private space/image becomes public and vice versa, and why and how this might matter.

Alongside my practice I currently work in Early Years Education.
